  • Actively participate in the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS) program and demonstrate knowledge of employee responsibilities regarding safety
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of Canadian North’s SMS and investigate applicable incident reports as assigned within the established timeframes
  • In conjunction and cooperation with the other Operations Manager, Yellowknife, provide leadership and direction to the local Airport, Ramp and Cargo operations, ensuring a focus is on the highest levels of customer service and on-time performance
  • Work a set schedule that between the two Operations Manager positions provides 7 day a week oversight at the Airport, Ramp and Cargo operations as required.
  • Implement and monitor Airports, Ramp and Cargo service standards and procedures
  • Monitor initiatives designed to ensure all agents are capable ambassadors of Canadian North Inc.

They will be the WestJet representative day of to manage our relationship with our ground handling provider and external agencies. They will be responsible for identifying any areas for process improvements and working with the operational leadership team to identify solutions.
