Job Summary

As a Pilot-in-Waiting, you will be an integral part of the Summit Air team and will have the opportunity to work in a variety of key roles such as Flight Attendant, Load Master or Ramp Attendant for passenger and cargo aircraft. Responsibilities

• Marshals aircraft in ramp area, and tows aircraft on the ground
• Unloads and loads passenger baggage and cargo to/from aircraft
• Performs on-board duties as required, including enforcement of emergency and safety procedures
• Delivers exceptional pre-flight and in-flight customer service, as applicable
• Assists with aircraft grooming and washing
• Performs snow removal and aircraft de-icing duties, as required
• Assists with freight handling
• Performs additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Holds current commercial pilot license (IATRA preferred)
• Multi-IFR training is a definite asset
• Previous ramp or other job-site experience an asset
• Previous experience in a customer service role would be an asset
• Above average interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Ability to meet the physical Requirements
of the position which include bending, climbing, and heavy lifting
• Must meet pre-employment drug & alcohol testing Requirements

Work Conditions

• Working outside in all weather conditions
• Must be eligible to work in Canada, and currently residing in Canada
