Pacific Coastal Airlines is currently looking for a permanent full-time Lead Ramp Agent. This position is based out of the Williams Lake Airport (YWL).

Pacific Coastal Lead Ramp Attendants are the ambassadors of our company who are responsible to provide outstanding service to our customers and to embody the Pacific Coastal Airlines motto of "People Friendly, People First". You will be expected to role model behaviors that respect the corporate values, professionalism, diversity and service excellence to our internal and external customers.

This position is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency while leading, developing and coordinating personnel. The successful candidate will be able to balance multiple time sensitive priorities while working in a multi-faceted and fast paced environment that requires networking with various levels of personnel, customers, vendors and regulatory bodies.

The Lead Ramp Attendants is responsible for all activities associated with baggage services and ramp operations. This includes but is not limited to internal and external customer satisfaction, training, planning, report analysis, marshaling of aircrafts and all related functions. The Lead Ramp Attendants will ensure the delivery of consistent and exceptional customer service in accordance with safety, Transport Canada Regulations, Standard Operating Procedures and Pacific Coastal Airlines policies, while ensuring a professional and safe work environment for all customers and personnel. The successful candidate will also exemplify the uniform and grooming standards with confident deportment and respect to our company image and branding.

Job Responsibilities:
Prepare a schedule for ramp personnel Ensure that a ground equipment is in good condition Marshall , deice and fuel the aircraft Unload passenger luggage, cargo, containers/pallets, etc. Provide special handling of luggage/cargo as required/directed Drive and/or operate ground support equipment (e.g. golf carts, baggage carts, mobility aids, ground power unit) Assist customers and crew during boarding/offloading the aircraft Report all equipment malfunctions to appropriate supervisor/manager Maintain the highest standards of safety and security at all times Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Competencies:
Valid class 5 driver's license Strong communication and teamwork skills Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds Ability to work outdoors during inclement weather conditions Flexible to work weekends, evenings, holidays and/or irregular shifts
